Amid all the coronavirus crisis when every day we hear one orthe other bad news, another shocking news has broken. Recent news from downsouth has shaken the entire Kannada film industry. Kannada actress ShanayaKatwe has been arrested in relation to the murder of her own brother namedRakesh Katwe. According to the report the actress is booked for killing her 32year-old brother Rakesh Katwe after he had allegedly opposed her love relation.Police reports say that his decapitated head was found in the Devaragudihalforest area and the other parts of the body were found in different locations. EvenShanaya’s boyfriend Niyazahemed Katigar has also been arrested in connection toRakesh Katwe’s murder.
According to the report of New Indian Express, the Dharwaddistrict police has arrested four suspects who have been identified as TousifChannapur(21), Niyazahemed Katigar(21), Altaf Mulla (24), and AmanGiraniwale(19). Some reports suggest that the murder incident took place atShanaya and Victim Rakesh’s house in Hubballi where he was strangled to death. Theinvestigation is still going on however actress Shanaya Katwe has been takeninto judicial custody by the police. Based on the initial reports it is beingsaid that Rakesh has shown his disapproval for Niyazahemed and Shanaya’s loveaffair. When Rakesh opposed their relation Shanaya was then prompted to plotthis murder with her boyfriend.
Meanwhile, talking about her films, Shanaya has made her actingdebut in the Kannada film Idam Premam Jeevanam in 2018. She was recently seenin the comedy movie Ondu Ghanteya Kathe.
