Kannada TV actress Soujanya committed suicide, her dead body was found in her apartment in Bengaluru. Police have filed a case and the investigation is underway. A four-page suicide note has been recovered from the site of a suicide, which was written in Kannada and English.
The recovered suicide note shows that the actress was battling depression and wasn’t in a good state of mind. In the letter, she wrote that she wasn’t happy because of the unhealthy environment in the film industry. She further mentioned that she had no other option.
The actress has mentioned three dates – September 27, 28 and 30, on the suicide note. The initial investigation by the police has revealed that Soujanya decided to take her own life three days ago. Police further informed that the door was forced to be opened to find Soujanya’s mortal remains hanging in her room.
In the note, she has sought sorry for the step and has thanked her parents for everything.
The police identified the actress because of the tattoo on her leg as it was one of the identification marks.
Soujanya has acted in many serials and two Kannada movies.
Netizens have paid tribute to the actress, one of the users wrote, “So sad! Just posted earlier on suicide and how it happens. If children tell a parent, red flags of concern should be raised.
