Comedian Kapil Sharma has been facing the wrath of the fans on social media ever since The Kashmir Files director Vivek Agnihotri accused him of not inviting the team of the widely acclaimed movie due to the absence of mega-stars. Ever since the theatrical release of the Kashmir Files, the movie has been getting praise from almost all sections of the society and as a result, the fans are expressing their anger over Kapil Sharma who refused to promote the film which is based on the genocide of the Kashmiri Hindus. Now, Bollywood actor Anupam Kher has finally broken his silence over The Kapil Sharma Show-The Kashmir Files controversy. 

Speaking to Times Now, The Kashmir Files actor Anupam Kher refuted that Kapil Sharma refused to promote Vivek Agnihotri-directed movie. Anupam Kher stated that Kapil Sharma actually invited him to promote The Kashmir Files a few months back, however he himself had declined it keeping the subject of the film in mind. "Ye film bari serious hai, I do not want to be a part of the show. But I have to say, Kapil does not have any malice towards us or towards the film," Anupam Kher stated and rested The Kapil Sharma Show-The Kashmir Files controversy. 

After Anupam Kher's revelation, comedian Kapil Sharma took to his Twitter handle and hailed the actor for coming up with the truth. Kapil Sharma also took a dig at the people on social media who were criticising him for the past many days for allegedly not promoting the Kashmir Files in 'Tha Kapil Sharma Show'. 





The Kashmir Files Box Office Collection

The Kashmir Files continue to rake up money on the box office. As per film critic Taran Aadash, The Kashmir Files box office collection day 4 was at Rs 15.05 crore. In fact, The Kashmir Files became the top-earning movie in post-pandemic times in the first 4 days. 

The Kashmir Files Box Office Collection is receiving massive love from the audience, the screen count was increased from 600 to 2000. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the numbers on Twitter on Monday. He wrote: "Grows 325.35% on Day 3 (vis-à-vis Day 1), NEW RECORD… Metros + mass belt, multiplexes + single screens, the *opening weekend biz* is TERRIFIC across the board... Fri 3.55 cr, Sat 8.50 cr, Sun 15.10 cr. Total: Rs 27.15 cr. #India biz."
