Kapurthala native Gurshinder Singh Ghotra dies in Canada accident

A 27-year-old youth, of village Bhadas in Tehsil Bhulath of Kapurthala, being burnt alive after an accident in Canada. Apparently, the car caught fire after the accident with the trolley of the young man who was riding in the car, due to which he was burnt and died on the spot. The deceased has been identified as 27-year-old Gurshinder Singh Ghotra, of village Bhadas.

Shamsher Singh, a relative of the deceased, resident of village Bhadas told that Gurshinder Singh, is the gandson of his uncle and his paternal uncle Darshan Singh retired as SP from Haryana Police.

He further said that Surinder Singh's son Gurshinder Singh Ghotra was coming home in a car on August 23 after getting training from the academy to join the Canadian Police. Eventually, his car caught fire after hitting a trolley on the way left him dying on the spot burning him alive.

Shamsher Singh said, that the last rites of Gurshinder Singh have been performed in Canada on 25th August. He told that Gurshinder Singh had to join the Canadian Police after passing out on Monday. Where the family has suffered irreparable damage due to this accident, there is a wave of mourning in village Bhadas.
