Dharma owner and Koffee with Karan host, Karan Johar is back again in the spotlight ever since his much-followed talk show is back with a new season on Disney Plus Hotstar. Before the release of Karan Johar's Koffee with Karan 7 new season, it was reported that the chat show might not make its comeback as multiple Bollywood superstars were criticised on social media especially after the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. In fact, Ranbir Kapoor viral video started spreading like a wildfire slamming Karan Johar over his talk show. Now, Karan Johar in an interview with Siddharth Kannan on his YouTube channel broke his silence on Ranbir Kapoor Koffee with Karan viral video.
During the chat show, when Karan Johar was asked who in Bollywood totally roasts him, he said, "Ranbir Kapoor! He does a full roast on me and I somehow secretly enjoy it." On being asked about Ranbir Kapoor viral video, Karan Johar said, "He has really gone up there and ruined the reputation of Koffee with Karan. But, I love him so much that he is such an outstanding actor that 'usko sau khoon maaf' (I forgive him)."

After Sushant Sing Rajput's tragic death episode, multiple Bollywood actors came under the scanner of social media, and various old clips from Koffee with Karan show were dug out as a piece of evidence. In fact, many films were subject to boycott and many Bollywood celebrities face online trolling as well as hate. Following that Ranbir Kapoor appeared in an interview reported;y with AIB and openly slammed Karan Johar and accused him of landing actors in trouble and making money out of it.
In the Ranbir Kapoor viral video, the Saawariya actor had said that he is tiered of Koffee with Karan show. "I am. I am. ..I told him (Karan) I don’t want to come. Me and Anushka actually going to protest and get the entire film industry together to stop this because it’s not fair. He’s making money out of us. We come and we get screwed through the air. It’s not right," Ranbir had said.

Furthermore, when asked the actors get in the hamper after winning the rapid fire rounds, Ranbir said, "Nothing, ghanta you get there. Same iPhone you are getting."
With Koffee with Karan back with season 7 and multiple actors have already graced the couch, it will be interesting to see whether Ranbir Kapoor will come to the show or not.
