He has proved that by launching Shanaya Kapoor in the film Bedhadak, she is the most important nurturer of nepotism. The allegations made by actress Kangana Ranaut against him are being proved.

Another user, criticizing Karan Johar, writes, "Karan is going to launch another star kids in Bollywood. Like Jhanvi Kapoor and Ananya Panday, now Shanaya Kapoor is also going to act in films at the mercy of her master.  There is no hope left from Bollywood now. Let's see world cinema." For this those people will be responsible who are unable to think beyond nepotism. Ignoring talent.  It's like you can't change with some people even after such a big loss.  In this way, Bollywood will be ruined forever because its alternatives are there.
