Kareena Kapoor Khan lauds Pune Police for Covid-19 campaign based on grandfather Raj Kapoor

Due to the spike in Covid cases, government officials are coming up with unique ideas to spread awareness about Covid-19. Recently, Pune Police did a campaign on Covid-19 protocols. They used references from Raj Kapoor’s film Mera Naam Joker.

Kareena Kapoor hailed Pune Police for their efforts. Taking to Instagram, Kareena shared a video by a media outlet in which a cop is seen singing Aye Bhai Zara Dekh Ke Chalo with a twist.

The policeman recreated the song with new lyrics to spread awareness.

Legendary actor’s classic film, Mera Naam Joker released in 1970. The song Aye Bhai Zara dekh ke Chalo was originally composed by the iconic duo Shankar-Jaikishan and it is sung by Manna Dey. Sharing the video, Kareena captioned it as "Brilliant video! (clapping hands emoji) @punepolicecity #RajKapoor (red heart emoji)."


 
 
Kareena Kapoor Khan and Karisma Kapoor are the daughters of veteran actor Randhir Kapoor, who is the eldest son of Raj Kapoor.
