A video has surfaced online in which Karnataka forest department staffer shot at an elephant in the Bandipur National Park on March 7.

Poaching or hunting is illegal in India, however, still, people do not give up from their barbarism. Hunting of wild animals is an old age sport but it is the animals who always suffer. A video has surfaced online in which Karnataka forest department staffer shot at an elephant in the Bandipur National Park on March 7.

As per reports, the staffer has been sacked. As per officials, Rahim, a temporary staffer, was responsible for shooting the elephant. He has been fired with immediate effect. Umesh, a permanent employee of the Karnataka Forest Department, was with Rahim in the car. He is being investigated for filming the incident and sharing it on social media.

The video was shared by Bollywood actor Randeep Hooda with the caption, "How this even possible? Is this really someone idea of fun ?? Karnataka FD, please look into the matter urgently. The culprits need to nabbed and punished immediately."
