In an absolute shocker, 20-year-old youth stabbed a Flipkart delivery agent to death after being unable to pay the cash for iPhone ordered from the e-commerce site. The incident was reported from Haasan district of Karnataka.
Reportedly, accused has been identified as Hemant Datta while the Flipkart delivery agent, Manju Naik is a resident of Lakshmipuram in Haasan district’s Arsekere. The accused ordered iPhone for approximately Rs. 46,000 from Flipkart in the starting of February and the victim came to deliver it on 7th February 2023. As the accused did not have money, fight broke out between two after which Hemant stabbed Manju.
Manju Naik’s brother then got a missing complaint filed in the Arsekere police station. During its investigation, police recovered body of Manju Naik at a railway track and after carrying out the probe, accused was arrested on Saturday. Almost two days after killing, accused carried the dead body on scooter and threw it on a nearby railway track and later burnt the body with petrol. CCTV of the same has also gone viral.
