On the lines of Kartarpur Corridor, Pak pilgrims also expected to attend Urs of Hazrat Nizamuddin Aulia

The Pakistan government made an announcement for the visit of Pak pilgrims to the Indian capital

New Delhi: A group of Pakistani Pilgrims is expected to visit India to attend the annual Urs of Hazrat Nizamuddin Aulia, stated the Pakistani High Commission on Friday.

 "Under the provisions of the 1974 India-Pakistan Protocol on Visits to Religious Shrines, a group of Pakistani zaireen (pilgrims) is expected to travel to India to attend the annual Urs," said a statement from Pakistan High Commission here.

Hazrat Nizamuddin Aulia is a place of utmost spiritual importance as he was the third Khalifaof Hazrat Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti. On the 715th annual Urs of hazrat Nizamuddin Aulia, Pakistani High Commission officer Sohail Mahmood presented the Traditional Chaddar at the Dargah Sharif in New Delhi on Friday.

The High Commissioner also visited the Hazrat Amir Khusro (RA) Dargah and offered prayers, the statement said.
