Karwa Chauth is all set to be celebrated on the 13th and 14th of October 2022. During this festivity, all the married and also unmarried women keep fast for their special ones and pray for love, prosperity, luck and happiness in their married life. This year many women must be keeping excited to keep fast as it must be the first one after their marriage. According to the reports released, this year it is not auspicious for the newlywed brides to keep the Karwa Chauth Fast and also for the women to keep the fast for the very first time.

Reportedly, this year on the occasion of Karwa Chauth the newlyweds are being restricted from keeping the fast due to the ‘Shukra Asta’ also known as Venus’s combustion. The astrologers have stated that the impact of the same will remain till the 20th of November. Venus is considered the planet symbolic of love, marriage and happiness. This time the planet is being obscured of the unassisted viewing by the light of the sun. In a layman's language Venus on the day of Karwa Chauth will get hidden behind the sunlight which is not very auspicious. It is being advised by the Pandits, if any newlywed is thinking of fasting on Karwa Chauth then that might not be a good idea.

The point to be remembered is that the women planning to celebrate Karwa Chauth can perform all the rituals that are done during the festivity but without fasting for the day. These women can without any doubt be involved in having ‘sargi’ in the morning, performing pooja in the evening, applying Mehendi and getting ready for the day.

Also, another interesting factor that has happened on Karwa Chauth is that it will be falling on two days i.e. Thursday and Friday. The festival will begin on Thursday at 1;59 am and will continue till Friday at 3:08 am. It is also being said that not only fasting, but if anyone is planning to start something new or venture out in an all-new field then they should wait till November 20.

Not only this, another startling fact that has come to the fore is that the most important aspect to break fast during Karwa Chauth i.e. Moon might not also be visible in some places in the country. The reason why these claims are being made is that the weather reports of some areas suggest that Thursday and Friday might observe clouds or heavy rainfall due to which the moon may not be visible in some places.
