The increase in targeted killing of the Kashmiri Pandits in the valley has raised serious concerns over the national security of India. Kashmir target killings have sent shockwaves across the nation as the Hindus are again considering migrating from the valley. Since May 1, a total of 9 Kashmiri Hindus have been killed by the terrorists. It is being called Kashmir Target Killings as the terrorists are only killing Kashmiri Hindus and migrants who are working in the valley. Now, the Kashmir Target Killings plan has finally been revealed and the name of Pakistan has popped out yet again.

As per Aaj Tak's report, the Kashmir Target Killings plan was hatched in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK) and a list of 200 people (mostly Kashmiri Pandits) was made by the terrorists to kill them in order to destabilize the law and order of Jammu and Kashmir.

Kashmir Target Killings Plan

The report further states that the ongoing Kashmir Target Killings plan was hatched a year before on September 21, 2021, in Muzaffarabad, PoK.  Officers of ISI and chiefs of the different terrorist organisations had a confidential meeting over the targeted killings in Kashmir. In the nefarious meeting, it was decided that new terror organisations will be formed for the Kashmir Target Killings. Those terror outfits will take the responsibility for the Kashmir Target Killings. The 'hit-list' of 200 people included Kashmiri Pandits, Security Personnel, and local BJP leaders.

10 Killings in 26 Days

Three targeted killings have been recorded in the last 72 hours in the Kashmir valley. A 17-year-old migrant worker Dilkhush Kumar from Bihar was shot down by terrorists on Thursday evening in Budgam whereas on the same day, Vijay Kumar, a bank employee was killed by terrorists in Kulgam. Rajni Bala, a Kashmiri Hindu, and teacher from Samba district was shot dead by the terrorists on Tuesday.

In the wake of the spate of killings, Kashmiri pandits are staging protests, demanding to be relocated from the Valley. Kashmir Minority Forum on Wednesday issued a statement urging the Centre to take a 'bold step' and asserted that 'lollipops' such as accommodation, transfers, safety, and security given by the government will not work.

Furthermore, in the wake of increased Kashmir Target Killings, Union Home Minister Amit Shah held a High-Level Meeting on Friday in the presence of  J&K LG Manoj Sinha, National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval, Indian Army Chief Manoj Pande, as well as DGs of Security Agencies in attendance.
