Keep the josh high! Army Chief boost the morale of Soldiers on forward posts on China border

The tensions between India and China over the border are escalating with each passing day and the Indian Army is gearing itself to reply to them befittingly in every situation. On September 5, Army Chief General MM Narvane has told the soldiers to keep their josh (spirits) high amid the ongoing conflict. 

He said to soldiers that the entire country was looking at the Army during precarious times and they would need to work with both josh and patience. 

On his two-day visit to the Ladakh sector on September 2 and 3, General Narvane visited forward positions and reviewed the ongoing security situation where the Indian and Chinese armies have been engaged in a standoff position for over three months now.

According to the sources, when General Narvane addressed to motivate the soldiers near the border he said, "Desh ki nazrein hum par hain (country's eyes are on us)."

While praising the troops' contribution in different operations in the Ladakh sector during the ongoing conflict, the chief said that the troops are required to work with passion as well as patience and self-control while being deployed in the ongoing operations.
