The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) took out a roadshow in Jalandhar on Saturday, ahead of the by-poll elections. The roadshow started from the city's busiest Bhagwan Valmiki Chowk (Jyoti Chowk), and was led by the party convenor Arvind Kejriwal, who made some strong statements during the event. The party's candidate for the elections, Sushil Singh Rinku, was also present at the roadshow along with party leaders Arvind Kejriwal and Bhagwant Mann.

Kejriwal addressed the crowd and said that the Congress party does not need their votes and that one seat will not matter to the BJP's Modi government, but it is very important for the AAP. He also asked the people if any Congress leader from Delhi came to the polls or if Rahul Gandhi came to Jalandhar to ask for votes. When people responded in the negative, Kejriwal said that they did not come because they do not need the people's valuable votes.

The Chief Minister of Punjab, who was also present at the roadshow, taunted the opponents and said that they mobilize the crowd by paying money to hold rallies. He urged the people to trust the AAP for 11 months and see their work of development, and if they turn out to be useless, then they should not vote for them in the next year's Lok Sabha elections.
