In the Indian Army wedding invitation, Rahul and Krithika wrote a special note which says, "We Rahul and Krithika are getting married on November 10th. We are truly thankful for your love, determination and true patriotism towards our country. We owe a deep debt of gratitude to you fo keeping us safe. Because of you we sleep peacefully Thankyou for giving us all happy days with our loved ones. Because of you we ar getting married happily. The Indian Army also shared the wedding invite on their official Twitter handle and wrote, "'Best Wishes' #IndianArmy conveys sincere thanks to Rahul & Karthika for the Wedding Invite and wishes the couple a very Happy & Blissful Wedded Life."

After the Indian Army wedding invite went viral, Retired Major General and Defense Analyst Gaurav Arya took to his Twitter handle and wrote, "Rahul & Karthika invite the Indian Army to their wedding and @adgpi responds, with best wishes. This kind of goodwill cannot be purchased, forced or even borrowed. This goodwill can only be earned through character and sacrifice."
