Coronavirus Outbreak: 15 stranded students of Kerala arrives in Kochi

Following the outbreak of deadly coronavirus, 15 students of Kerala who were stranded in Hubei province of China have landed at the Cochin International Airport Limited.

The airport officials claimed that the students had to undergo a thermal screening for the infection.

The students travelled to Bangkok from Kunming Airport and then catched an Air Asia flight to reach Kochi, said officials.

The flight landed at the airport of Kochi at 11pm on Friday and the students were directly taken to the Kalamassery Medical College Hospital in five sterlised ambulances, then admitted to an isloation ward, affirmed officials.

However, relatives of the students reached airport to meet students but were not allowed to do so.
