Khalistan protestors disrespect Tiranga outside Indian consulate in Vancouver; demand closure of embassies

While the India-Canada relationship continues to hit rock bottom, it seems like Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is not wondering to keep his relationship with New Delhi on a cordial term. While Canadian PM Justin Trudeau states that he will not take any retaliatory action on India's diplomatic strike, his Police were seen standing as a spectator while Pro Khalistani protestors disrespected India's flag tricolour and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. 

 

As per reports, Khalistani protested outside Indian Consulate in Vancouver and demanded the closure of every Indian embassy in Canada. Khalistan protest outside Indian Consulate in Vancouver was a sheer provocation as the protestors used the Tiranga as a foot mat and showcased Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a prisoner. 

 

Reports suggest that the Kahlistan protestors were angry over the failure of their car rally in Vancouver. On Sunday, they organised a car rally that was attended by a handful of people. As a result, the protestors headed to the Indian Consulate in Vancouver and chanted 'anti-India' slogans. 

 

Furthermore, in the Khalistan protestors Vancouver Indian consulate video, they were seen carrying out a cut-out of PM Modi and showcased him in prisoner attire. Not only this, but the Khalistani protestors announced that they will burn PM Modi's effigy on the occasion of Dussehra. For this, the Khalistani protestors also released a poster calling out people to attend the effigy burning event on Tuesday.
