'Khalistani' Amritpal Singh was arranging illegal weapons for aides: Amritsar SSP Rural's BIG revelations

Divulging information on crackdown on Amritpal Singh, Amritsar rural SSP Satinder Singh stated that FIR under section 307 was registered against the Waris Punjab De Chief a day after the Ajnala Clash.

Amritsar rural SSP Satinder Singh on Sunday addressed the media and informed that they arrested seven people yesterday in the case linked to Khalistani leader Amritpal Singh. Divulging information on crackdown on Amritpal Singh, Amritsar rural SSP Satinder Singh stated that FIR under section 307 was registered against the Waris Punjab De Chief a day after the Ajnala Clash. And the crackdown against Amritpal Singh and his associates have been taken by the Police under this section. Now, a fresh FIR has been registered against Amritpal Singh and his aides under the arms act. Addressing the media, SSP Satinder Singh said that in the crackdown against Amritpal Singh, 6 bore guns have been found including 192 live cartridges.

In the interrogation, the arrested Amritpal Singh's aides revealed that the Waris Punjab De Chief had bought illegal weapons from a man named Gurvesh Singh. Another man Harvinder Singh has been arrested by the Police who is said to be Amritpal Singh's associate. As per the SSP, 139 live cartridges have been found in Harvinder's possession and it was found to be illegal.
