Khalistani supporters held a demonstration yesterday outside the Indian Embassy in Vancouver, Canada in which the Indian tricolor was insulted. They set the flag on fire. This is the second such demonstration by Khalistani supporters in Canada in 3 days.
There was a demonstration outside the Indian Embassy in Toronto 3 days ago where the Indian Flag was insulted as well. They spread the Indian tricolor on the road, stepped on it and then finally set it on fire.
It has been 108 days since the murder of Hardeep Singh Nijjar. Khalistani supporters have been continuously demanding the arrest of Indian diplomat Sanjay Kumar Verma. The supporters arrived carrying flags of Khalistan and microphones.
Hardeep Singh Nijjar was murdered outside the Guru Nanak Gurudwara in Canada, Canada issued a statement that India itself was to blame. Canada allegedly issued this statement under pressure from the Khalistani movement and without investigation.
Now Khalistani supporters are continuously targeting Indian embassies again. This is the second time that the tricolour has been insulted in 3 days.
