Khalistani supporters in Toronto, Canada have once again insulted the tricolour flag of India and raised objections to the installation of the tallest statue of Bajrang Bali ji in the country.

The Khalistani supporters have been consistently active in Canada, and their actions have caused distress among the Indian Hindu community in the country. Despite their activities, the Canadian government has not taken any action against them, leading to daily hoisting of the tricolour flag in front of the Indian Embassy in Canada and derogatory comments about Hindu deities.

During a recent protest outside the Indian Embassy in Toronto, Khalistani supporters not only raised questions about the tallest statue of Hanuman Ji set to be installed in Canada but also insulted the tricolour flag by spreading it on the road, placing shoes on it, and setting it on fire.

This demonstration, which occurred 108 days after the murder of terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar, also saw Khalistani supporters protesting against the arrest of Indian diplomat Sanjay Kumar Verma. Additionally, they questioned the loyalty of Indian Hindus to Canada and whether the installation of the Hanuman Ji statue should be allowed in the country.

Despite these events, no Canadian Hindu organization has shown sympathy, raising concerns about their adherence to Canadian laws and values. The 55-foot-high statue of Hanuman Ji is set to be installed in Brompton, Canada, and is scheduled for formal installation on Hanuman Jayanti on 23 April 2024 after consecration at the Hindu Sabha Temple in Brampton, Canada.
