Kiku-Sharda Kapil-Sharma Arnab-Goswami

‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ has been one of the few programs that resumed shooting amid the COVID-19 pandemic, and began airing new episodes that have kept the audience entertained during the weekends.

Recently, Kapil Sharma has shared a hilarious promo of the upcoming episode of The Kapil Sharma Show, which will have actor Manoj Bajpayee and filmmaker Anubhav Sinha as guests. The promo shows comedian Kiku Sharda in character as Bachcha Yadav, playing a popular television news anchor.

Kapil captioned the video, “#raddinews... only on #tkss Baat ki khaal, aao behas kare’n #thekapilsharmashow.”

Kiku  goes on to say, “Mujhe jug do, mujhe jug do,” as he asks for some water. He calls for Kapil saying, “I challenge you...” and he arrives in the get-up of Navjot Singh Sidhu and goes on to beat Kiku. Krushna, too, joins him and spills a jug full of water on Kiku to cool him down.

The duo participated in a parody sketch which included Republic TV editor Arnab Goswami. Meanwhile, SSR fans and his family members have supported Republic TV and its journalists for trying to 'expose' Bollywood's alleged involvement in the case including the drug angle which is being probed by the Narcotics Control Bureau.

In an interview, Kiku said, “I do receive messages about things. If you have not liked something, you can obviously go and talk about it. So, there is a way of talking about it as well. What I get upset about it is when you start using language which is not appropriate.”

He added, “There are all kinds of humour we touch upon. It is okay to voice your opinion but sometimes people do get nasty with voicing their opinion. These types of messages have come but we spoof KBC, we spoof like the biggest of actors and we do the mimicry of them.”

Earlier there were reports that Alia Bhatt was furious with the show because of Kiku’s jokes during the promotions of Kalank, to which he clarified by saying, “This is just a rumour. She has enjoyed a lot on the show. I have no idea how this rumour started, but if you watch the episode, you will see how much she has enjoyed on the show. Alia is a very sporting person and has laughed a lot on the show.”

Well, we hope that Kapil and his gang make us laugh hard!!
