Actor Kirron Kher, who was diagnosed withblood cancer earlier this year, will be returning to television as the judge ofIndia’s Got Talent Season 9 with Shilpa Shetty Kundra and Badshah.

Excited on being returning on the show,Kirron shared, “'India's Got Talent' has always been close to my heart. Thisbeing my 9th year with this prestigious talent reality show, returning as ajury member is a wonderful experience. It feels like I am coming back home.Year on year, 'India's Got Talent' is known to encourage and put the spotlighton varied and exceptional talent from across the country and every time, I amleft in awe as the quality of talent just keeps getting better and better.”

She added further, “It's always been a momentof pride for me to be a part of a show that helps turn dreams into reality bygiving a platform for everybody to showcase their rare talent. I am extremelyelated to be judging the show with the beautiful and lovely Shilpa ShettyKundra and our Punjabi munda, Badshah. Above all, I am extremely happy to be apart of the show and cannot wait to take on this new journey of discoveringwhat India has in store this year.”

The Bharatiya Janata Party’s MP fromChandigarh and renowned actress Kirron Kher is suffering from multiple myeloma,a type of blood cancer. She is undergoing treatment in Mumbai. 

Anupam Kher, her husband, took to twitterabout her health in April, “Just so that the rumours don't get the better of asituation Sikander and I would like to inform everyone that Kirron has beendiagnosed with multiple myeloma, a type of blood cancer. She is currentlyundergoing treatment and we are sure she will come out of this stronger thanbefore. We are very blessed that she is being looked after by a phenomenal setof doctors. She's always been a fighter and takes things head on."

"She's all heart and that's why she hasso many people that love her. So keep sending your love to her in your prayersand in your heart. She is well on her way to recovery and we thank everyone fortheir support and love. Anupam and Sikander," he added.
