The famous Punjabi singer Shree Brar, who sang 'Kisan Anthem' during the farmers' movement in Delhi, has started receiving death threats after the release of his new album Bediyan. Shree Brar has levelled allegations against Congress leaders by going live on his social media account. He alleged that he has been receiving life threats over calls by the close aides of these high-profile men.

Without naming any Congress leaders, Brar said he cannot tell what he is going through in his life right now, what kind of situation he is going through, saw a lot during the farmer's movement and many goons used to call. He added that many politicians used to issue threats to him for which he pays money to seek protection.

The video was posted by the Sangrur’s sitting MP Simranjit Singh Mann on his official Twitter handle. In the post, he wrote, “These are serious allegations being raised by Shree Brar after S. Deep Sidhu, S. Nangal Ambian & S. Moosewala’s demises under suspicious circumstances. The awakening amongst Sikh youth has truly shaken the tyrant to the core. I urge Panjabis to unite under one banner.”

In the video, he also drew the relevance of his situation with that of late star actor Sushant Singh Rajput saying, "People are forcing me to the position where Sushant opted to end his life."

Brar said you use a thousand pens against me, you have only one solution, you get me shot by someone, I will survive that day, otherwise, I will be giving you endless nights without sleep. I eat what Punjab gives me. The people of this state know everything.
