The Christians brotherhood will be taking out a procession in Jalandhar related to Christmas due to which some of the roads will get blocked. Reportedly, the procession will start from the main church "Church of Shine and Vaders" located in Khambra near the TV tower and will pass through every square of the city.
As per information, due the procession there can be heavy traffic experienced at Wadala Chowk, Nakodar Chowk, Valmiki Chowk, Bhagat Singh Chowk, etc due to which the police have diverted some of the routes. Vehicles going from Jalandhar to Nakodar and other nearby places will have to go through a diverted route today.
The officials of traffic police have informed that for the small vehicles coming to Nakodar, the route is fixed from Pratappura to CT Institute and from there to Curo Highstreet Mall, Samra Chowk. Talking about heavy vehicles, the people will have to go through Nakodar Puli via Jandiala-Jamsher to Macdonald via Ramamandi-PAP.
