As part of his smear campaign against Kejriwal, he inquired where the AAP had gone during the COVID-19 outbreak. “Kejriwal should answer -Where was AAP missing during corona, what happened in Delhi hospitals and who provided oxygen to the public,” he asked.

On February 20, Punjab will hold elections to elect 117 members of the provincial Assembly. The votes will be counted on March 10th.

While the ruling Congress wants to keep power in the state, the BJP is attempting to topple the Congress by allying with former chief minister Amarinder Singh's Punjab Lok Congress (PLC) and Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa's Shiromani Akali Dal (Sanyukt). The AAP and the Shiromani Akali Dal are two other major contenders in the election.

Earlier he had come for the virtual rally in Jalandhar and in Ludhiana to declare Charanjit Channi as CM face. After this, on Monday, he addressed election rallies in Hoshiarpur and Gurdaspur.
