The President of the Board of Control for Cricket in India, Sourav Ganguly is making heads turn with his remarks these days. The former cricketer has grabbed the attention of Netizens for his ‘Sexist’ remark.

If you don’t know, let us tell you, Sourav Ganguly was asked how he manages stress with the workload as BCCI President during an event. "There's no stress in life. Only wife and girlfriend give stress," he said jokingly.

His comment didn’t go well with the Twitterati and he received a lot of backlash for his statement. They labelled him as ‘Desi Uncle’ from ‘Dada’.

National Family Health Survey details are quite an eye-opener for Sourav Ganguly for his remark. The survey revealed that more than 30 percent of women in 14 of the 18 states surveyed justify beatings. In three states, namely Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka; more than 75% of women justified beating up the wives of men. Karnataka has the highest number of women victims who suffered due to male violence.

Earlier, Sourav Ganguly was in headlines as Virat Kohli revealed that selectors asked him to step down from Team India’s Captaincy. Kohli was dropped from ODI captaincy and was replaced by Rohit Sharma.
