Koffee with Karan Season 7 new episode aired on Thursday on Disney Plus Hotstar and this week the cast of Phone Bhoot- Katrina Kaif, Siddhant Chaturvedi, and Ishaan Khatter graced the couch. With the arrival of Koffee with Karan 7 new episode, new gossip, new revelations and the relationship status of Bollywood stars have come out in the open or at least has given fans an idea. However, the new episode of Koffee with Karan 7 was not only about gossip, 'host' Karan Johar asked Siddhant Chaturvedi about his take on nepotism which he had said during a Roundtable show in which Ananya Pandey also featured.

During the show, Karan Johar asked Siddhant Chaturvedi about his take on nepotism and also stated that his remarks may have brought Ananya Pandey on the wrong tide. On this Siddhant said, "There was no intentions to harm anybody or cause any kind of hurt. I just thought it was my truth and I will speak my truth. It has been difficult, it's always harder (for an outsider) but I embrace it, I really love where I come from. But, that's my truth and everybody has their own truth and that was the line about. They have their own struggle for acceptance. It takes a while. That was my observation, that was my truth. But having said that I think these talks will keep going on (nepotism). I think we can't keep complaining about it."

Siddhant Chaturvedi was praised by fans on social media for his take on nepotism. Siddhant Chaturvedi's take on nepotism came after Ananya Pandey was explaining her struggles in Bollywood despite being a star kid. Ananya Panday, who is Chunky Panday's daughter, had shared her views on nepotism during the interview. She said, "I have always wanted to be an actor. Just because my dad has been an actor, I will never say no to an opportunity to act. My dad has never been in a Dharma film, he never went on Koffee With Karan. So it’s not as easy as people say. Everyone has their own journey and their own struggle."

To this, Siddhant Chaturvedi gave a strong reply. He said He said, "The difference is jahaan humare sapne poore hote hain, wahi inka struggle shuru hota hai (their struggle begins where our dreams are fulfilled)."

Following this, Ananya Pandey was heavily trolled on social media over nepotism and Siddhant Chaturvedi was hailed.
