In the latest episode of the chat show ‘Koffee With Karan’ Samantha Ruth Prabhu made her debut with Akshay Kumar in the show’s 7th season. The entire segment of the show was rapid and full of fire, as Karan Johar always says before the rapid-fire round of his shows. Samantha made some shocking revelations about her, relations, and rumors after the separation from her husband Naga Chaitanya.
In one such instance of the show, Karan addressed Naga Chaitanya as Samantha’s husband the latter soon corrected her with ‘ex-husband. Later, on a separate question about them being amicable, she responded, “If you put both of us in a room, you’d have to hide the sharp objects.” In to it she later added, “but it may be some time in the future.” A better section of the show around Samantha was related to her divorce and talks after that.
On a question about the trolling after separation from Naga Chaitanya, she said, "So, I couldn't complain about it because I chose that path, I chose to be transparent and I chose to reveal a lot of my life. And, when the separation happened, I couldn't be too upset about it because they invested in my life and it was my responsibility to have answers which I didn't at that point of time. I think I came out of it okay, better than okay." Further, when she was asked how she is doing post-separation? She added, "It has been hard but it's good now. It's fine. I am stronger than I have ever been."
Among the flurry of questions, ‘The Family Man 2’ star actor was asked about the most bizarre rumor that she came across about her divorce to which she responded, There was a report which said she took Rs 250 crores as alimony, to which she laughed and joked waiting for Income Tax officials since the news surfaced.
The star couple were married to each other since 2017. They informed about their separation through a post on social media in a joint statement last year.
