Kriti Sanon recently announced that she will be a part of Om Raut's passion project Adipurush. The actress had been rumored to be in the film from the start, only to confirm it with a social media update. She had shared a few photos of herself with Prabhas, Sunny Singh Nijjar, and Om Raut. For the uninitiated, Kriti Sanon will play Sita in the film, while Prabhas will play Ram.
After playing a historic character in Panipat, Kriti Sanon opened up about the obligation that comes with portraying such a significant historical figure. Sita is a sentimental character for Kriti Sanon, so she needs to make sure she does the character justice.
Although she is excited to be playing the role, she is wary of portraying something that isn't accurate. Kriti Sanon said that this is the first time she's doing a role with so much chroma work, and she had to work on her Telugu because it's a Pan-India project. When asked about her relationship with co-star Prabhas and director Om Raut so far, she said that although Prabhas appears shy at first, he is a true foodie who enjoys feeding his co-stars. Although she isn't concerned that Om Raut will bring out the best in her, she is happy to be part of the project.
Kriti Sanon will film Adipurush for four days before going to Arunachal Pradesh to film Bhediya, after which she will return to finish the former project. She claims that the months of March, April, and May have been devoted to these two tasks.
