While one half has extended their support to Sehaj Arora and Gurpreet Singh by urging people not to share their private tapes, a few slammed the couple and questioned the couple why they filmed themselves in the act in the first place. A few days back, Sehaj Arora took to his Instagram handle and alleged that he has been getting political pressure to take back his Police complaint and he denied doing so. Talking about the Police complaint, ACP Nirmal Singh on Thursday gave Kulhad Pizza Couple leaked video case update while talking to the media.
As per ACP Nirmal Singh, "On Sehaj's complaint, FIR number 90 was registered in Thana no. 4 of Jalandhar. During the investigation, we arrested a girl named Soniya...After interrogating Soniya and acting upon technical evidence we arrested a girl named Palak on 23 September 2023. In the investigation till now, these two culprits have come to the fore. There are a few technical reports still pending in the investigation. The reports are yet to come."
On being asked about the accusation of an arrested girl's aunt that Sehaj had used her niece's phone when she was working for them, ACP Nirmal said, "We also heard about the accusations. Therefore we asked the girl in custody about this. We called the Kulhad Pizza couple for cross-questioning as well, but they could not come due to some personal work. But, I assure you that we will cross-check everything in the case."
One being asked whether the girl had been arrested for leaking the video or sending blackmailing texts, ACP Nirmal Singh informed that whatever technical evidence had been gathered was based on messages. "Clarity is yet to come as few technical evidence are still pending," said Nirmal Singh.
ACP Nirmal Singh further informed that one of the arrested girl's health deteriorated but the Police took to her hospital immediately and now she is fine.
Nirmal Singh was further asked why the arrested girls blackmailed the Kulhad Pizza couple, the cop answered, "We are still investigating the case and we will divulge information once everything becomes clear."
