Mohinder Kaur, 82-year-old, who became the poster woman of farmers protest 1.0 recently broke her silence on the Kangana Ranaut slap gate incident. On Thursday, Kangana Ranaut was heading to New Delhi via Chandigarh Airport when she was slapped by a CISF constable Kulwinder Kaur. Kulwinder Kaur was angry at Kangana over her past remarks on farmers saying that women protestors were sitting on Dharna in just Rs 100. Notably, Kangana Ranaut's remarks were pointed to none other than Mohinder Kaur. Kangana misidentified Mohinder Kaur as the same woman who sat in protest in Shaheen Bagh. In return, Mohinder Kaur sued Kangana for defamation. Now, Mohinder Kaur has reacted to Kangana Ranaut's slap gate and called the suspended CISF constable Kulwinder Kaur's act an act of bravery.
A resident of Fatehgarh Jandia village, Bathinda, Mohinder Kaur was quoted saying, "The one who slapped Kangana Ranaut is a brave daughter. She will not face any problems. The mother gave birth to a lioness. She taught her (Kangana) to speak well. She became an MP but still doesn't know how to speak. She was teaching Kangana to speak. Kangana is still calling farmers terrorists. Farmers do farming. Farmers work hard day and night. Farmers should support Kulwinder. If needed, they should go to jail before that. I am also ready to go to jail for Kulwinder Kaur." Notably, after the outrage, Kangana had deleted her tweet.

Kulwinder Kaur is a resident of Kapurthala, Punjab. Kulwinder got married 6 years ago in Jammu and her husband is also a CISF Jawan. Kulwinder has 2 children-.a daughter who is 6 to 7 years old and a son who is 5 to 6 years old. She was posted in Chandigarh for two and a half years.
The CISF personnel's brother Sher Singh reportedly said that he came to know about the incident only from the news. He further said that there is nothing wrong in supporting the farmers' movement. "Farmers are fighting for the country. I am associated with the Kisan Mazdoor Sangharsh Committee. Kulwinder is younger than me. She has been in service for 16 years. She has previously been posted in Kerala, Chennai and Amritsar. She was never seen angry," said Sher Singh.
