Famous TV serial Kumkum Bhagya actress, Tripti Shankhdhar, has shared her videos on her social media account alleging threat to her life from her father Ramratan Shankhdhar, runs a real estate business.
In the videos, Tripti can be seen asking for help as her father wants to kill her. She further added that her father pulled her hair and thrashed her.
Notably, the actress hails from Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. According to her narrative, Ramratan had sent her to Mumbai to become an actress. However, now he wants Tripti to get married to a man of his choice, who is nine years elder to her. On denial, she would have to return all the money Ramratan had spent on sending her to Mumbai to make a career in the entertainment industry. Claiming a threat to her life, the actress has sought protection from UP Police.
In the latest video, she can be heard saying that she, her mother, and her siblings have left the house as their lives are in danger. She says, "Guys humlog apni marzi see bhaaage hain. And, I know my dad can do anything. Maybe, he will go to the police and say that we've been kidnapped. He just wants to find us and kill us."
