In an absolute shocker and blood-boiling incident, two minor Dalit girls were found hanging from a tree outside a village in UP's Lakhimpur Kheri on Wednesday. The two minor girls were allegedly gang-raped and later murdered by the accused. The Lakhimpur Dalit minor girls hanging video has been doing rounds on social media and netizens have been fuming over the gruesome and heinous crimes. In the viral, it can be seen the victims hanging from the tree by their own dupattas. Their mother said that the two minor girls aged 17 and 15 were taken by men on motorcycles and alleged that they were raped, murdered, and hung from the tree. The Lakhimpur Dalit minors alleged gang rape and muder has sent shockwaves around the country. In fact, unrest was created in Lakhimpur after the incident came to light. Based on the mother's complaint, the police registered an FIR under the POCSO Act as well as IPC sections 302, 323, 452, and 376.
After the cruel crime came into the limelight, the Police came into action. On Thursday, during a joint press conference, Sanjeev Suman, SP Lakhimpur Kheri informed that all the six accused have been arrested. They include Suhail, Hafizul Rehman, Chhotu, Karimuddin, and Arif. SP Lakhimpur Kheri Sanjeev Suman made a massive revelation stating that both the deceased girls were acquainted with one of the accused (Chotu) and he introduced them to the other accused.

Furthermore, Suman further revealed that all boys other than Chotu hailed from Lalpur village in Lakhimpur Kheri. Chotu who was the neighbour of the deceased girls and had introduced the two girls to these boys. Both the girls were acquainted with Chhotu, who manipulated them into going to the fields. He then introduced them to his friends, who raped and murdered them. SP Lakhimpur further revealed four of the accused were arrested last night while two other were nabbed later. As per SP Sanjeev, the police got engaged in an encounter in which Junaid was shot in his leg and later arrested. All the six accused belong to the Tamoli village.
