Bilal Bahadur, a senior photojournalist fell down from a vehicle and was injured on Thursday.
He was covering funeral of two Lashker-e-Toiba (LeT) militants, killed by security forces on Wednesday afternoon.
Bilal Bahadur was working for different national and local newspapers, was covering funeral of the slain militants, when he suddenly fell down from the top of a vehicle in the old town of Baramulla, said by the official sources.
Immediately Bahadur was rushed to the District Hospital, from where he was referred for specialised treatment to Srinagar.
