Late Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala's father Balkaur Singh has made massive allegations in pursuit to get justice for his son. Balkur Singh on his social media handle has accused Delhi Jail officials of taking money from Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi in exchange for providing him facilities inside the jail where Sidhu Moose Wala's murder plan was hatched. He was outlining the revelations made by the CBI in the Sukesh Chandrashekhar case that the conman paid extortion of Rs 10 crore to Delhi Minister Satyendar Jain for 'protection inside jail'. Balkaur Singh pointed out that a similar thing happened in Sidhu Moose Wala's murder case and gangster Lawrence paid extortion to Delhi Jail officials so that he could get facilities. Do we need more proof of links between criminals, authorities, and politicians? I request investigative agencies to check if gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, while in custody, was given privileges that may have assisted in planning Sidhu's mürdér."
It is pertinent to mention here that Balkaur Singh had expressed his displeasure on Punjab Police's SIT action in the Sidhu Moose Wala murder case. Also, the late singer's father had shared his displeasure with the Punjab & Haryana High Court. Balkur Singh on his X handle wrote, "Honorable Punjab & Haryana High Court today expressed dissatisfaction over the performance of the SIT formed by @PunjabGovtIndia in March 2023 to identify the persons responsible for allowing 2 interviews with gangster Lawrance..
Bishnoi while in judicial/police custody. CM & Jail Min. of Punjab @BhagwantMann has failed to establish accountability even after 7 months of setting up the SIT which implies a partisan or non-serious attitude. The court has asked for a report before next hearing on Nov 28."
Sidhu Moose Wala Murder Case
Punjabi ace singer Sidhu Moose Wala (28) was shot dead in his car in Jawaharke village of Mansa district, Punjab on May 29, 2022. The assailants fired over 30 rounds at the singer & Congress leader who was found slumped in the driver's seat by locals. The murder occurred a day after the state government had curtailed his security cover.
