Although other factors such as goal, duration of time to work, etc, are important considerations to make their option as a career, money has a greater role in selecting their career.

Youth Trending Money Driven Career

In this contemporary world, career is the most significant in today’s youth life. It is considered as the basic need for the individual to survive in future times. This age group chooses money as the most crucial factor for making career choices in their life. Although other factors such as goal, duration of time to work, etc, are important considerations to make their option as a career, money has a greater role in selecting their career. Below are the positive and negative impacts of a money-driven career-

Positive impacts of money-driven career choice

It has numerous benefits such as making financially sound, maintaining the high status of individuals in society, and many more. For example, when the person accomplished his goal and paid higher sums. This helps him to get stable economically and fulfill their desires by spending money he or she wants to use.

Moreover, financially strong people make efforts to do welfare in society by utilising their money on genuine places such as contributing to orphanage institutions by giving some clothes and more necessities to those people living there. This also leads to maintaining their status in society when they indulge themselves in those activities.

Negative impacts of money-driven career choice

However, it also negatively impacts youth. With this, the youth suffers many problems such as limiting their growth, displeasing behaviour of individuals, etc. To explain, the growth of an individual gets restricted to a specific area as he/she is attracted to high-paying jobs rather than focusing on what that person actually wants to do to achieve his passion.

For example, when a person is appointed as a Chartered Accountant but his passion is painting. This job will deprive him of completing his passion as he will be more pleased with the amount he is offered as a Chartered Accountant.  These days youths are more attracted to the material culture.

To conclude, making a career based on money has both pros and cons in one’s life. In this prevailing world, people are more into materialistic things, so they choose careers only based on money whether it will make them happy or not. The factor of satisfaction does not matter in their life when they are completely bound by fake things.
