A shocking and tense situation has come forward in Jalandhar’s Baba Kanadas Nagar near Babu Labh Singh Nagar, which involved two men, identified as Aman and Fateh. Reportedly, these two men tried to threaten the residents of the area.

The conflict started when Aman and Fateh, with some of their friends, locked the rooms (quarters) of a woman, Surjit Kaur, two to three days ago. Surjit Kaur complained to the police about the issue early today and had the locks broken.

But when informed that the locks had been opened, Aman and Fateh came running with their group and started threatening to lock them once again. The woman immediately called emergency number 112 for the police, and officers arrived at the spot to settle the situation.

Viciously, in front of the police, Aman and Fateh threatened to murder Akash (who is lodged in jail) and Gopi (who is out of town) and declared that they would also murder Surjit Kaur's younger and older sons. They have made a video threat, which has gone online, making one question the authorities.

The video features Aman and Fateh claiming that Akash's uncle and father were involved in the murder of one of their gang members. The two men had just been released from prison. Aman and Fateh disregarded police attempts to push them away and keep the peace.

Surjit Kaur stated that she had already lodged a complaint with SHO Parminder Singh Thind, but nothing was done. That the threats were openly issued in the presence of the police has led locals to fear for safety and security.

All eyes now are on the police to find out what action they will initiate against Aman, Fateh, and their clique for threatening to use violence in broad daylight.
