The auspicious festival of Lohri was celebrated with great zest and fervour at Government High school Abdal.
Deepika Dean, Headmistress, said that the Lohri celebration was dedicated to gender equality. She also made the students aware about the importance of festivals, which are associated with our rich heritage.
The staff and students presented a colourful cultural programme on the occasion. The traditional Lohri delicacies like groundnuts, rewari, gajjak etc. were distributed among the staff and students.
