The news that India lost the match to England on Sunday did not hurt team India much but Vijay Shankar injury did. All-rounder Vijay Shankar who is suffering from toe injury was ruled out of the team and as a replacement, Mayank Agarwal might be brought into the team.

The BCCI will now make a request to the ICC to call in a replacement. The Capitan Virat Kohli informed the news of injury during the toss on Sunday he said “Vijay Shankar has a toe niggle, Rishabh Pant is in. He brings in a lot of fearlessness. Once he gets to 20, then he unstoppable.”

Team India already lost key players like Shikhar Dhawan, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and now Vijay Shankar. Seems like the series of injuries in the team is devastating to India as it becomes the first team to make such prolonged changes in its team due to injuries.

Well, K L Rahul who was bought in as an opener into the team after Shikhar Dhawan injury is seemingly not well. He got injured while attempting a catch on the boundary.

He hurt his back in the process and it a big blow to team India. But the good news comes in as the management informed that he is treated immediately after the injury and will be back on the field soon.

While the other team members are performing their best in the tournament; Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli are breaking the records whereas Jasprit Bumrah is showing his class.

Having two more matches to play team India is only one step away from making into the semi-final. It the crucial time to maintain the team stability as the semifinals are approaching.

A lot of changes in the team can cause trouble which the team India will defiantly look into. Further, the team loss against England did not much disappoint as the team gave a tough competition to England in the last match.
