National Award-winning director Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury is all set to return back to OTT with another investigative thriller ‘Lost’ starring Yami Gautam. The movie is inspired from true events wherein a female journalist puts her life into danger just to bring out the truth of a missing case. ‘Lost’ is being produced by Zee Studios and Namah Pictures.
Yami Gautam known for choosing good stories over big banger is back with abother investigative thriller ‘Lost.’ Lost is all set to exclusively release on Zee5 on 16th February 2023. Apart from Yami Gautam, the movie also Pankar Kapoor, Rahul Khanna, Neil Bhoopalam, Pia Bajpiee, and Tushar Panday. Yami Gautam will be seen playing the role of crime journalist who goes on to investigate a missing case to bring out it hidden reality. While sharing the news of her latest release she wrote, “The righteous path has many options but only one right choice! #LostOnZEE5, premieres 16th Feb.”
Talking about the storyline, Lost portrays story of a young female crime reporter who is in relentless search of the hidden truth behind sudden disappearance of young theatre activist. The movie further delves into how people high profile people lose empathy and integrity as the case’s truth opens up. The movie also shows how a journalist life is put to danger just to report the truth and to bring out the reality in front of people.
Yami Gautam was last seen movie ‘A Thursaday’ released on Disney Plus Hotstar. It was also inspired by true events. The movie was about a rape survivor who kidnaps around 16 kindergarten children to meet the Prime Minister of the country and seek justice for all rape survivors. Her movie became the second highest watched film on OTT in 2022.
