In a sorrowful development, 2 youths die in an accident after their car rammed into a trolley. The incident took place in Ludhiana. Reportedly, both had come back from Canada for their sister’s marriage. While they both were returning from a function late at night, their car met with an accident and both youths died on the spot.
The deceased have been identified as Mandeep Singh and Balraj Singh who came back to Punjab from Canada on January 13, 2023 for their sister’s wedding. Both the deceased were cousins. Reportedly, they were coming back from Mansa after attending a friend’s wedding when their speeding Swift car rammed into a stationary trolley. Both sustained major injuries and died on the spot. Their bodies were brought to their native village Abuwal where the last rites took place on 17th January 2023.
Talking about Balraj Singh, his father revealed that he had gone to Canada around 4 year back in search of a better income. His father added that Balraj said that this time he will go back to Canada after fulfilling all his responsibilities in his sister’s marriage. He used to say that after getting both his sisters married, he will think about his personal life. For the unversed, the deceased had only one real sister, the other was her cousin.
Other deceased Mandeep Singh’s father stated that Madeep’s mother passed away when he was really young. Mandeep had an elder brother who also died sometime back after which he was married to his brother’s wife. Mandeep after a lot of hard work sent his wife to Australia and was himself about to go to Australia when this tragic incident happened.
