Shocking incident was reported in Ludhiana where Faridkot MLA Gurdit Singh Sekhon met with an accident due to zero visibility because of fog. Reportedly, as he was traveling in his government vehicle, car ahead of him suddenly applied brakes and MLA’s car collided with it due to zero visibility.
As per latest information, due to collision bumper of car got seriously damaged but MLA was pulled out of the car safely. Soon after accident, driver immediately informed the police and officials reached on the spot. He was then sent to Chandigarh.
Police officials have informed that MLA Gurdit Singh was going from Faridkot to Chandigarh. As these days there is a thick blanket of fog covered all over Punjab, the car in front of his vehicle suddenly applied brakes and his car collided with it.
It is being reported that due to increased cases of stubble burning in Punjab, accidents are seeing a rise in state because it becomes difficult for vehicles to see ahead.
