Ludhiana Court Blast Case: NIA raids accused house in Khanna

Gagandeep was killed in the blast that took place on December 23, 2021. He was the main accused in the bomb blast.

National Investigation Agency (NIA) officers have conducted a raid at Ludhiana bomb blast accused Gagandeep's house on Wednesday. Gagandeep was killed in the blast that took place on December 23, 2021.

The team reached Gagandeep's old house in Khanna early in the morning. The search was on till the last news was received. He was the main accused in the bomb blast. 

Gagandeep Singh alias Gaggi, 30, a dismissed head constable of Khanna-based Punjab Police, a suspected assailant, was arrested in August 2019 by the Ludhiana STF wing in a drug case after which he was dismissed from the police. One person was killed and six others were seriously injured in an explosion at Ludhiana District Court Superior.

The probe agencies have also found that Pakistani's ISI was behind the blast and was in touch with Gagandeep Singh. After the raid, the NIA team also questioned Gagandeep's family and a female friend, who is a police personnel as well. 


Let us remind you that the explosion took place in a washroom on the second floor of the District and Sessions court complex in Ludhiana. According to police, Gagandeep had gone to the washroom in the court complex to assemble the bomb to plant it somewhere.
