1. Pls share your background. How did you establish your brand?
Our brand Eli and Kim is a combination of two people Joyner Kim and Elizabeth Kim who took the decision of joining hands to achieve their goals and dreams and create a brand which is globally recognized and becomes everyone's wishlist.
2. How did you decide to come into this field? What was your inspiration?
-From a very early age, designing was a part of me. Anyone who saw the back of my notebooks in school and college could tell.
3. Youth aspires to become fashion designers but often are looked down upon by parents and society since they don't consider this as a good career option. What is your advice to parents?
-Time has changed. In today's time, every career option is a good option provided the person is willing to put in all his efforts and time for the work he/she does . We all know that there is no shortcut to success. One’s goals can be achieved only through hard work.
The quotient of hard work will reveal one’s character. People who work hard are always disciplined and focused in life. More importantly, they have an attitude that is not easy to defeat.
It is only hard work that will bring you more and more opportunities to showcase your talents and skills to the world. With hard work as your hallmark feature, you will be better positioned to increase your opportunities.
4. Sometimes young people fear investing in this field? According to you, how much risk taking attitude in this field is required?
In any field of work, risk taking attitude is 100%. The bigger the risk, the bigger the margins. Study the situation and go ahead with the risk. Risk attitude has an important role in risk management, and any error in risk attitude can influence the effectiveness of your risk management and ultimately the success of your project.
5. Your social media reach is high. How do you use it ? And how can this tool help in business?
Social media is one of the most popular tools these days. If utilised properly around 95 % of your business can be done.
Social media increases the amount of exposure a brand receives and increases traffic. It also helps to develop loyal fans and generates leads. Having a strong social media presence allows a brand to develop business partnerships, reduce marketing costs and improve sales.
