In a shocking development, 10 armed robbers on Saturday looted an amount of Rs7 crore from an ATM cash van at gunpoint. As per reports, the robbery took place in Ludhiana's Rajguru Nagar. During the Ludhiana heist, armed robbers kept the security guard, hostage, by locking them inside a room and later fled from the spot with the ATM cash van. The Police recovered the stolen vehicle near Mullapur Dakha and a high alert has been raised in Ludhiana. As per reports, the entire money belonged to CNAS Finance Company. Ludhiana CP Mandeep Singh Sidhu briefed the media and said, "10 armed men looted a cash van at gunpoint. Around 10 crores have been looted and locked the Security guards in the room. The robbers even destroyed the CCTV cameras and took away the DVRs...."

Police Commissioner, Mandeep Sidhu, arrived at the scene and claimed that our teams have apprehended the culprits involved in the cash van heist in Mullanpur. He stated that the robbery occurred around 1:30 am and was carried out with the use of weapons. Notably, the office of CNAS Finance Company is located in Rajguru Nagar, Ludhiana, where around 15-16 cash vans were parked overnight, out of which one cash van along with approximately 7 crores rupees was looted.
