Ludhiana Hyatt Regency Bomb Threat Case: Accused arrested in Delhi, investigation underway

Police have revealed that the person accused in the case is not mentally stable

Hyatt Regency Hotel, Ludhiana received a bomb threat on Tuesday from an unknown person. The police were informed about the same at the earliest after which the security was beefed up. Reportedly, the police have now arrested the accused from Delhi who was involved in the threat case.

Police have revealed that the person accused in the case is not mentally stable and was giving threats without any hidden agenda. Till now the identity of the accused has not been shared by the police. During the time threat was received 60 guests and 90 members of staff were present inside the hotel who were evacuated from there and made to sit in the park nearby.

The investigation is still being carried out. On Tuesday dog squad along with higher officials reached the scene and increased the patrolling of the concerned area.

Police officials have stated that questioning is being done by the accused to know whether he has given bomb threats to any other hotel or not. The arrest was possible with the joint effort of Delhi Police as well.
