In the city of Punjab, Ludhiana, a woman has come into notice for robbing the young youth and even the middle-aged people for a long time. The woman came to attention because of her unique robbery style. Her way of luring youth and middle-aged people and getting them into her trap is distinctive. She stands on the road as if she needs a lift and once, she gets seated in the car. She starts blackmailing people and even tries to snatch their belongings. She gets her hands on the money and mobile phone of the person who has respectfully given her the lift. This piece of information has been passed on by Punjab Youth Congress spokesperson ‘Gaggi Gill’.
Gaggi Gill stated that he saw the woman on the streets multiple times asking for a lift from random people. According to him, one of his friends has been the victim of the same incident. Gaggi Gill told that he and his friend were together, going from the Model Town area. That was the time when his friend saw the same woman asking for a lift from the people passing by the road.
On this, they called the police station of Model Town and informed them that there is a woman who asks for a lift from people and later blackmailed them at a distance and robbed them. According to the spokesperson of the Punjab Youth Congress, they called up police several times, but there was no response from the police and they did not reach the spot. When the noise was raised, it gave the woman a chance to flee away from that place.
Later, Gaggi also described the appearance of the woman. She was wearing a jean top and standing on the side of the road waiting for her next target. Looking at her, the youth automatically falls into her trap and gives her a lift. After travelling some distance, she starts to blackmail people by saying that she will make noise that the person is forcing on her. This is the time, youth realizes that they have been trapped and have become a victim. While this happens, she snatches the money and mobile phone.
According to Gaggi, 2 days ago when he was on Gill bypass on the Ludhiana-Malerkotla road he saw the woman again. She had now changed her place and started standing on the outskirts of the city. In front of him, the woman stopped a young gentleman and took a lift. As the car travelled some distance, the woman was about to make that person her victim. At that point, Gaggi started recording the woman.
The woman noticed Gaggi and his friend recording her which made her nervous and sacred. The woman immediately stepped down from the car. This saves the Swift car driver from being a victim. Gaggi said, in that matter also reported the police but every time the response was negative. The police said the matter is not under our jurisdiction. Gaggi has also requested that Police Commissioner, 'Kaustubh Sharma’ that police should take action against the woman.
