Lulu Mall Lucknow Controversy: On Saturday, the protesters who came to read Hanuman Chalisa in Lulu Mall carrying flags and banners have been taken into custody by the police. During this, the protesters also clashed with the police and it was also reported that 15-20 members of the Hindu activists group have been held for the same. 

Every day there is some uproar after the video of offering Namaz in the newly opened Lulu Mall in the capital Lucknow went viral on Wednesday. On Saturday, Aditya Mishra, who claimed to be associated with a Hindu organization, and his supporters reached the mall to read Hanuman Chalisa with flags and banners in their hands.

During this, the protesters clashed with police personnel. After which he has been taken into custody. The police dragged them and filled them on the bus. For some time the protesters kept hiding from the police. The police searched for the protesters by running around the mall. All of them are telling themselves to be associated with the Hindutva organization and had come to the mall to read Hanuman Chalisa. 


Earlier, Hindu organizations had called for the recitation of Sundarkand on Friday in protest against offering Namaz at Lulu Mall. When three youths reached there to recite the Sundarkand at around seven o'clock in the evening, the security personnel stopped them. An uproar started over this. In the meantime, when a young man started going inside saying to offer Namaz, the atmosphere became more heated.

On information, the police arrested four youths. While registering a case of breach of peace and violation of section 144, the accused were sent to jail. At the same time, the president and Hindu leader of the Hindu Samaj Party, who called for the recitation of Sundarkand in the mall, Mr Kamlesh Tiwari's wife Kiran Tiwari was placed under house arrest.
