In bizzare news today, a surgeon doctor was suspended in Karnatka due to his interesting idea of a pre-wedding photoshoot which the District official did not find acceptable. Dr. Abhishek, a contract physician was issued a notice after he conducted the fake surgery in the operation theater (OT) of a govt. hospital in Karnataka. He was conducting a mock surgery on an acquaintance along with his fiancée which is now going viral on the internet.
In the video, a group of photographers could be seen laughing behind their cameras as the doctor and his fiancée perform the mock surgery on the fake patient. Halfway through the video the fake patient also sits up straight, “revealing” his alive and well status making humorous light of the situation. The District Health Officer, did not find the instance amusing however and issued a notice to the administrator.
The DHO said that the shoot was done in an OT of a government hospital and subsequently issued a notice to the contract physician. The DHO said that the Govt. Hospital is for the health of the general public and not for personal use. He further added that doctors and other staff of the hospitals have been instructed to not let such incidents happen in the future.
