'Made in France paper, ink from Japan': World's most expensive Ramayana reaches Ayodhya Ram Mandir

With only two days to go before the auspicious Pran Pratishtha event, the World's most expensive Ramayana on Friday arrived at Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. A bookseller named Manoj Sati offered the most expensive Ramayana to mark the historic Pran Pratistha Day in Ayodhya. Apart from being the most expensive, the Ramayana is also being termed as the most beautiful book till now. Now, the question arises what is the World's most expensive Ramayana price and what are its key features that make it the most beautiful religious book in the world? World's Most Expensive Ramayana in Ayodhya

 

World's most expensive Ramayana is priced at Rs 1.65 lakhs. The bookseller, Manoj Sati while talking to a newswire explained that the holy book written by Valmiki depicts the life story of Lord Ram in a picture form apart from texts. Sati stated that the book features three boxes designed to resemble the Ram temple - mirroring the temple's three floors. Talking about most-expensive Ramayana's specification, its paper is made in France and is an acid-free patented paper. The cover of the book is made from an imported material, while the ink used in it has been imported from Japan. Meanwhile, the wood used for its design is American walnut wood and saffron.

 

Ayodhya's Ramayana book weighs 45 kg and can last for over 400 years. Sati said, "The book can be read over by four generations..We have reached here with our beautiful Ramayana in the tent city of Ayodhya. It has so many qualities and is the world's most expensive Ramayana. You can say the most beautiful Ramayana is in Ayodhya..The motive behind the beautiful and attractive design is that one gets to see a different design on each page."

 

The box on Ramayana can also be rotated and it's stand resembles to Lord Ram's Bow and Arrow. 

 

 

After a struggle of at least 500 years, Ayodhya's Ram Temple will finally be inaugurated on January 22, 2024, with Pran Pratistha Ceremony. With limited but VVIP guests, PM Modi will participate in the auspicious Pran Pratistha event along with a team of priests led by Lakshmikant Dixit. While people are the world wish to worship and do the darshan of Ram Lalla on D-Day i.e. January 22, 2024, the state and central government have advised devotees to stay at home and do online darshan on Monday. Due to security measures and the presence of VVIPs, devotees have been asked to darshan a day after the Pran Pratistha ceremony i.e. from January 23
